Then we headed to Morjim Beachone of a very low-key – almost deserted beach in North Goa.It is a great place to spot a large variety of birds and Olive Ridley Turtles, hillocks and good food. Morjim is also known as mini-Russiadue to large concentration of Russian immigrants and considered to be one of the top 10 beaches in Goa.There are not much of night parties here so it is advisable to go in late afternoon and spend the evening there enjoying the Sunset, beach and chilled beer and then go to some other beach and enjoy the night parties. So we did the same we had a great evening in Morjim and then left for Baga Beach and went to St. Anthony’s Shackone of my favourite Shacks in Goa, it has karaoke, Sheesha and some good music and it bustles with energy all the time. *Renting a Car in Monsoon cost between Rs.1200 to Rs.1500 a Day *Chapora Fort is Around 24 Kms from Panjim *Morjimis located 29 km north of Panjim *St. Anthonys Shack is almost end of Baga Beach next to Brittos Shack Day 3

After that we visited Morjim Beach. As it was the only beach left to explore. It was so relaxing after doing a ride for 4 hours. We took few breaks during this ride but most of the time we were riding in rain. Morjim was the last stop as we have a bus to catch from Mapusa to Pune which was scheduled to depart at 7.30PM. So this is how we explored GOA within 2 days. Even it was not a planned trip, we spent very less and managed to get the trip completed within 8,000 for 2 people. It was quite a budget friendly trip and we enjoyed a lot. And I enjoyed the meal with the T20 match that was happening between Chennai and Punjab. After finishing the every night quota of my fag, I went to sleep. I woke up with the feeling, "Shit, tonight I've my flight. I've to return to Mumbai tonight." So, I enjoyed my morning dose of tea with a cigarette and asked for the breakfast to get delivered in the room itself. That day, I had Parantha and some Konkoan Veg Curry. I finished my packing, got ready and called my chauffer for the last time to pick me up. I checked out from the hotel and went to Calangute again to buy something for one of my office colleagues (Pallavi). After buying that I was heading towards the South Goa and found this church.

This quiet beach lies just north of the Chapora River and can be reached by taking a short detour off the coast road from Chapora. It is 40 kms from Panjim city. This is one of the famous turtle beaches of Goa where you can spot the Olive Ridley Turtle. Morjim Beach is a joy to visit. It is in Northern Goa, a few miles before Ashwem Beach and Arambol beach. The sand here is dark brown colour and is quite fascinating. I confess, we got a bit greedy and decided to ride further down to Arambol. Attracted to it far its laid-back attitude, I was quite amazed at how the place has managed to retain the virgin feel to it, despite the evil head of commercialization lurking down to the corners.
