The next day after freshening up and having a delicious breakfast from the same cafe ( Cafe Oasis ), we headed for the North Goa for beach hopping. It took us around 45 mins through some winding and vacant roads to Morjim beach . Morjim Beach also has the Olive Ridley Sea turtle nesting grounds (p.s. - if lucky , you might even see small little cute turtles, but keep in mind not to touch them). These are again beaches that are not crowded and secluded from the rest of the Goa so just relax on this one.
Just next to Morjim was Ashwem Beach , this one has a coconut grove on the beach . Talk about photography here, Just take out the photographer in you and go crazy . This one also has a small stream coming upto the sea and opening up, and also when there's a low tide, this beach looks amazing with part sand and part water areas giving an amazing surface. This one definitely is quite interesting. Having had two bottles of beer and french fries (our lunch) we went on....
.... to Arambol Beach , which was hardly 15- 20 minutes from Ashwem beach. This one was definitely the crowded one in the North Goa beaches. This one has many water sports and activities that one can do here. It also showcases an amazing sunset if you are up for it. Just relax on this one till the sun goes down . Many beach shacks here offer the beach chairs for rent . The best option would be to order drinks or food for yourself on any of the shacks that appeal to you. This will help their business as well as you getting a hint of luxury on the beach of a beach chair.
In the evening, there is no place to go in Goa for a night party other than Curlies. Of course, its crowded, of course, there is no place to park and of course , the food is not that great but the music, the ambience, the rough sea at night is just something to experience. You can stay the whole night just staring into darkness but you wont grow tired of it.
