The ultimate guide to Goa Trip

Grad Trip is probably the fanciest and the most hyped trip one takes after his/her graduation/post graduation. After listing down a lot of pros and cons , the 6 of us(All girls gang) decided to go to Goa for 5 days. Goa might be the most hyped destination place but you need to visit the right beaches to enjoy the beauty of Goa. We decided to stay for 2 days in north Goa and 3 days in South Goa. North Goa is known for its party culture, extremely crowded beaches whereas south is known more for a more peaceful and tranquil vacation.

Day 1 : Party Scenes

Since we arrived at around 8 P.M. in the evening, we headed towards the famous Tito's Lane to groove to some music and dance our hearts out. Entry is generally free for girls in almost all the pubs and in few drinks are free as well. We went to Bollywood Club, Tito's Club and Mambos. Bollywood Club was hands down the winner with awesome music and an enjoyable environment.

Day 2 : Ashvem, Morjim, Chapora, Baga, Club Cubana

Ashvem Beach

After having a hearty breakfast at Lila Cafe , we headed towards Ashvem Beach. This is a very quiet beach with very few people and clean water. In North people generally visit Baga, Calangute, Anjuna etc. since they are the more famous beaches but they are equally crowded as well. If you are in look for a calm and serene beach, Ashvem and Morjim are the ones for you. We headed towards Chapora to view the sunset and ultimately ended up at Baga shacks to have dinner. Later at night we went to Club Cubana . Being a Wednesday, it was ladies night there. (Note: Even though the club is pretty safe for everyone but you will enjoy more if you have at least one/two guys in your group)

Day 3: Dolphin trip, Old Goa

We started our day late and headed towards Arthur's themed cafe for brunch. Next destination was dolphin ride near Candolim. The boat ride was really enjoyable with the waves hitting the boat and the scenic view of the Aguada fort and coco beach. Seeing the dolphins entirely depends on your luck. Next we went to old Goa to visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus. There is a strict dress code that needs to be followed here. Dress should be below knees, should not be sleeveless and should not have a deep neck. After visiting the church and clicking few pictures here and there we headed towards our south Goa accommodation. For dinner we went to Martin's Corner which is by far the best hangou/dinner place. The place has live music and awesome food.

Day 4: Palolem, Cola Beach

Cola Beach

If you want to experience Thailand in Goa, Palolem and Cola are the beaches for you. The beaches are spectacularly clean and you will mostly find foreign crowd over here. The waves are not at all violent and you can actually swim and kayak in the Palolem beach. Cola beach is a more secret/hidden beach since the road reaching this beach is a "kacha" road and you have to trek down to reach the beach but the view is worth the trek. Cola also has a small lagoon where you can again kayak

Day 5 : Cavelossim/Mobor , Benaulim, Sunset beach

The last day was dedicated to water sports. We headed towards Cavelossim beach to do the same. You can do Jet ski, bumper ride, banana boat ride and parasailing here. This beach has white sand and spectacular view. Must see for anyone exploring south beaches. After the water sports we went to Benaulim beach to have lunch. The beach here was more crowded than cavelossim/palolem/cola but clean nonetheless. Sunset beach was just walking distance from our Airbnb , hence we decided to spend our last evening and last sunset here. Our last supper was at Martin's Corner yet again since we absolutely loved this place.

The next day with heavy hearts we bid adieu to each other and headed towards our respective homes. Goa trip was by far one of the best trips I have taken and I hope to explore many more hidden beaches in the future! Comment if you have visited such awesome and hidden beaches too!
