Day 1 Bir Billing Trip
Bir is a town in the eastern end of the Kangra District in Himachal Pradesh with a friendly Indian population and a large Tibetan (Khampa) community. It is home to several educational institutions, monasteries, and nonprofit organizations (NGOs) and is becoming a popular off-the-beaten-path destination for meditation courses, paragliding and ecotourism. (private buses available from Majnu ka tila from delhi/himsuta volvo from isbt)
We booked our trip through @indicrewgetaways which was very low budget round trip for us including transfers, meals, stay, local sight-seeing, paragliding including video and of course lot of memories.
We reached city bir in the late morning by 11 o'clock and settled down in our off-beat accommodation place @thehosteller which was full of young crowd and chill atmosphere.
After getting relaxed for 1-2 hours, we started to cover local sight seeing places like palpung sherabling monastery, gunehar local village, waterfalls and great cafes in the evening.
One must go to @avva_cafe_bir in case of authentic south india food (personal recommend), cafe silver linings, cafe ilaka, musafir or so many other.
Enjoy your night in the clear sky with lot of stars, bonfire, beers and music !

Morning starts with scenic beauty of dhualadhar range, we were ready to take the ride of our lifetime. There were some butterfly's in the stomach, everybody was trying to encourage each other but inside we knew 'aaj toh lagne wali hai' 😁 6 of us started to take off one by one from the paragliding point of billing after covering 14 kms road distance from bir to billing station. N as they say 'journey of the lifetime begins' and I got my wings. 😎🦋
