I started my journey from my home town Rewa in madhyapradesh.
I reached Delhi and waited for my fellow travellers to join me.
We went to explore some parts of Delhi as we have time left before our bus leaves.
We reached narkanda (A beautiful Village 67 km from Shimla). This was our first stop and we had one day to explore this beautiful heaven. We got a guest house of RS 1200 for 5 people.
We went for a trek to hatu peak. This was a 7 km beautiful trek full of mesmerizing views, we had a great time on this trek.
We reached reckong peo from narkanda via rampur. The journey from narkanda to reckong peo was beautiful as we were surrounded by the peaks of kinnaur kailash and lush green valleys.
Reckong peo is a beautiful place with the full range of kinnaur kailash. We also witness the peak of kinnaur kailash with shivling. We got a cheap homestays of RS 500 for 5 people.
On the same day we went to kalpa, a small village 6 km away from reckong peo. This place has some beautiful monasteries with view of kinnaur kailash peak. Then we hitchhiked till rogi valley suicide points, this was one of those places where I got some Goosebumps.
We left from reckong peo to kaza at 5:00 am morning. We booked a sumo jeep so that we can explore some places like nako and tabo between reckong peo to kaza.
Our driver was a lama from mud village(pin valley).
We also met some new travellers and there company was amazing, all together we had a great time and decided to travel together.
Now we have a group of 10 people including our lama ji😂.
We decided not to go kaza directly, let's explore pin valley this day and will get to kaza on coming day.
My experience of pin valley was beautiful , I had experience Rocky mountains , lush greens jungles but haven't seen a valley like this. That was so mesmerizing ,the colour of mountains were so different, starting from brown then green yellow grey white pink red , that was very beautiful.
The mountains were so huge , and I realized how small we are infront of mountains and nature
We started our journey for kaza, kaza was 35 km away from pin valley
After a journey of 1 hour we reached kaza (The headquarters of Spiti valley)
This view was different from pin valley, but this deserted mountains terrain was so mesmerizing.
We decided that again we will hire lama ji for our sight seeing in kaza. There was so much to see and explore in kaza , strating from the worlds highest Buddha statue (in langza- 4220 m) to worlds highest village (komic 4550 m) and worlds highest post office (hikkim-4440 m) and finally via kibber to Asia highest bridge (chicham khas).
These all places took my heart , there was a different feeling while exploring these places, you can feel the fresh air and the fresh surroundings around you. You can meet yourself that yes this is who you are ❤️
Okay this day is the most important and the most beautiful day of this trip.
I was waiting from 6 months to explore the place name kunzum pass and chandratal lake.
I was so excited for this day and I literally felt Goosebumps after exploring them❤️.
Chandratal lake via kunzum pass is around 100 km away from kaza but due to bad road conditions it took us 6 hours to reach there but those 6 hours were worth it.
There are two types of Spiti valley and rare few get the chance to explore both of them, and yes I can proudly say that yes I explored both❤️.
This side of Spiti valley is Soo different from the one we saw yesterday. There were green grass lands which serves as the base for the huge white mountains full of snow. My words and my pictures can't express the view I saw from my eyes.
We reached kunzum after 5 hours and what we saw puts a sparkling light in our eyes. Everything was white ,not a single mountain was uncovered with snow , it was like we were walking in heaven , clouds were with us snow was with us. One can literally compare those view from heaven❤️.
After some off roading from kunzum we reached chandratal lake, such a sacred lake it is .
Lake was between the snow capped mountains and water was so pure and so clean that you can see your face clearly in that lake❤️.
There is nothing more I can say because as I told you my words and pictures can't describe even 5% what my eyes had saw❤️
The most heart breaking thing I face is saying good bye to mountains, but this is how things work.
We said good bye to kaza and started our back journey from kaza to reckong peo.
This was really heart breaking , I was so sad that now I m again going back to plains with humidity.
But deep down I know that this trip was the best experience for me , I learned a lot of things from and explored my self.
I made some new friends , we shared some great time together and learned many things from the native of Spiti valley, they taught me that yes humanity is still left and hope is alive ❤️❤️❤️
