"Once a year, go someplace you've never been before"- Dalai Lama

Locking down someone who loves to travel can be mundane. During the starting days of the lockdown; I was really sad because I had plans to explore different destinations.

So, to keep my mind away from the negativity around, I decided to collect my experiences from different places that I have visited to relive those amazing moments. I also decided to prepare itineraries for my future travel. It wouldn't be wrong to call myself a traveler from heart. I came up with these ideas to experience travel even during the Quarantine time.

1. Collection for the Everest Base Camp Trek: Before the lockdown, I along with two of my friends booked Everest Base camp trek. We were planning for the trek from the past two years. I was thrilled and was looking forward to traveling my dream. I had been preparing for this trek since the day I made all the bookings. The first picture here is some of the things I wanted to take with me on the trek.

2. A part of you lives in me: I have this habit of collecting souvenirs from the places where I visit, like these places are always a part of me. The second picture depicts my collection of souvenirs from the different parts of India and the world. These take me to the flashback of the good time I have spent in these places. Some of these are gifts from my travel companions; always motivating me to travel around the world.

3. Books as friends: Reading travel books give me the in-depth and interesting material about the place. My third picture has some of the most interesting books I’ve read during the lockdown days. Zankar to Ziro being my favorite. This book made me research a lot about mountains and as a result I came across a lot of interesting stories about them.

Apart from these I have developed these hobbies to make me keep positive in these tough times:

4. Songs: I have started having a collecting song that can be used while my future travel. Khawabon ke Parindey from ZNMD and Sunn hawa by Ambika Nayak. Listening to these songs give me a happy and a peaceful vibe as if I am sitting at the top of a mountain.

5. Documentaries: Since I am interested in exploring a lot of different things while I am traveling, I have started watching different travel documentaries. I have learned the things that can go while we travel. Documentaries are not only informative but also fun to watch.

6. Capturing Beauties: Photography has interested me since childhood. Lockdown has given me a chance to pursue this hobby and to gain knowledge so that I can click some amazing pictures when I travel next.
