The Nameri eco-resort is one of a kind in India, the only one that offers a midnight safari on elephants. Its a quiet place tucked away in the Assam-Arunachal border region and what a place it is!
We spent the night at the resort, which is a very basic home stay sort of a place and the next day rafting through the Jia-Bhorali river.
A day or two in Kaziranga and the another in the tiny town of Tezpur was all a beautiful experience.
