Layover at Delhi ? Visit Qutub Minar

Have a layover of 6hrs at Delhi ? Planning what to do ? Then just visit Qutub Minar for half a day tour and its worth it to knows its history

I had layover of 6 hrs before I head to Dharamshala so took a quick decision to visit Qutub Minar. Took a local bus to Qutub minar which was free from airport for women. Book a online ticket from the entry gate , deposited my backpack and then started the tour.

Qutub minar not only has its victory monument but also has other small minar, tombs which has its own history behind the tower.

Qutub minar is part of UNESCO World Heritage site being the tallest tower made of 5 storeys of various materials. What attracted me msot was the design and architecture of the minar.

At each place you get to read the history behind that minar/tomb which gives the entire history.
