गुनगुनी धूप आज मुझे पूरे आगोश में ले लेती पर ये कम्बख़्त शोर ने ऐसा नहीं करने दिया | दिल्ली के शोर-शराबे के बीच आज सर्द मौसम ने मुझे हर बार की तरह आखिरकार घूमने को मना ही लिया | २६ दिसंबर की सुबह मैंने बैग पैक करने में लगा दी, दोपहर में ट्रेन थी हज़रत निजामुद्दीन रेलवे स्टेशन से सवाई माधोपुर के लिए | कोल्डड्रिंक्स और चिप्स लेके मैं अपनी चेयर कार वाली बोगी में बैठ गया |
यही १.३५ पम पर ट्रेन चली और लगभग ७.३० तक मुझे सवाई माधोपुर रेलवे स्टेशन उतार दी, स्टेशन पे बाघ, भालू , हिरन की शानदार चित्रकारी ने मेरी उत्सुकता और भी बढ़ा दी| स्टेशन से निकलते ही बाएं हाथ पे ऑटो-स्टैंड है और पूरी-सब्ज़ी,चाय की ढेर सारी दुकानें भी ,मैं भूख से बेहाल था सो मैंने खूब छक के खाना खाया और चाय ( जोकि मेरी जान है ) की भी चुस्की ली | ये सब करते हुए मैंने ऑनलाइन होटल बुक दिया था, फटाफट ऑटो बुक किया और पहुंच गया होटल | एक बात कहना चाहूँगा; यहाँ के लोग काफी शांत स्वाभाव के और मदद करने वाले लोग हैं जैसा की मेरा अनुभव रहा |होटल चुनते वक़्त अगर रणथम्भोर रोड के होटल्स चुनते हैं तो ज़्यादा बेहतर होगा, शिल्पग्राम के आसपास के होटल्स और उनकी लोकेशन काफ़ी भी अच्छी है |
होटल पहुंचने पर मुझे एक विस्मय कर देने वाली खबर मिली की आज दिन में एक महिला जोकि लकड़ी काटने जंगल गयी थी उसे बाघ ने हमला करके मार डाला है !
मैं थोड़ा दुःखी और थोड़ा कौतूहल से भर गया था , मैं चुपचाप अपने रूम आया और फ्रेश होकर सुबह की प्लैनिंग करने लगा इतने में एक और बुरी ख़बर मिली " काउंटर से बुकिंग अब नहीं होगी , ऑनलाइन करना होगा " जब ऑनलाइन टिकट के लिए वेबसाइट पे चेक किया तो पता लगा बुकिंग्स क्लोज हो चुकी हैं, ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे मानो बाघ ने अपॉइंटमेंट देने से मना कर दिया हो, पर मैं कहाँ हिम्मत हारने वाला था |
क्यूँकि रणथम्भोर नेशनल पार्क में टाइगर सफारी का प्लान कैंसिल हो गया था तो अगले दिन सुबह मैंने रणथम्भोर क़िला देखने का निर्णय लिया | सुबह होते ही मैंने शेयरिंग ऑटो करके ऑटो स्टैंड पंहुचा और वह से ५० रूपये में जीप की सवारी की जोकि शेयरिंग जीप थी, आधे घंटे में जीप फुल हो गयी और निकल पड़ी जीप उस ऐतिहासिक धरोहर को समेटे रणथम्भोर क़िले की ओर |
आधे रास्ते में तो धूल ही धूल थी लेकिन जैसे ही धूल भरा रास्ता ख़त्म हुआ अरावली की खूबसूरत पहाड़ियां अपने हरे रंग की चादर ओढ़े मनो स्वागत करने को तैयार थीं | लंगूरों के झुण्ड बीच-बीच में मानो टोल टैक्स के लिए बैठे हों , उधर अगल बगल की झाड़ियों और घने पेड़ो के बीच काले हिरन, साँभर, बारासिंघे,चीतल और नीलगाय बेफ़िक्री से पेटपूजा में लगे हुए थे | रास्ते में अरावली की पुरानी पहाड़ियों को देखते हुए एक छोटी नदी पड़ी; हालाँकि पानी कम था पर सबसे रोचक बात ये की वहां एक साइन बोर्ड पर मगरमच्छों से सावधान रहने की हिदायत दी हुई थी जोकि काफ़ी दिलचस्प लगा | घने जंगलों को चीरते हुए जीप क़िले के सामने पहुंच चुकी थी |
क़िले में कोई एंट्रेंस फीस नहीं है, चढ़ाई थोड़ी ज़्यादा है पर जगह जगह रुक के प्रकृति की ख़ूबसूरती निहारने को आप आराम करने का बहाना बना सकते हैं | क़िला काफी पुराना है; लगभग १० वीं शताब्दी का बना यह क़िला अनगिनत हमलों को झेलने की गवाही बड़े शान से दे रहा है |
यूनेस्को वर्ल्ड हेरिटेज में शामिल यह क़िला लगभग १०२ हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है |
क़िले के प्रमुख आकर्षण के केंद्र जोगी महल,पदम् तालाब,त्रिनेत्र गणेश जी का मंदिर ,जैन मंदिर, बत्तीस खम्भा, अन्नपूर्णा मंदिर, रानी हवेली , नौलखा द्वार आदि प्रमुख हैं |
तमाम ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं को समेटे इस खूबसूरत क़िले के लिए एक दिन का समय देना ज़रूरी है |
मैंने जी भर के भारतीय इतिहास के इस नायाब नमूने को देखा |
बाघ और जंगल को एक साथ देखने की इच्छा के साथ इस ऐतिहासिक क़िले से विदा लेने का वक़्त आ गया था |
वापस जीप कर जब मैं होटल लौटा तो "जुगाड़ " शक्ति को प्रयोग में लाने का विचार आया और फ़ौरन ट्रेवल एजेंट के पास पहुँचा जोकि मेरे होटल से कुछ कदम की दूरी पर ही थे | बातचीत करके बात १५०० में आयी जिप्सी की; वो भी बिना गॉरंटी के; बात ये तय हुई थी की कल शाम की शिफ्ट यानि २ से ५ बजे की शिफ्ट में जिप्सी सफारी की बुकिंग करेगा लेकिन ज़ुबान नहीं दे सकता की मिलेगी ही या नहीं! पूरा रेलवे वाला हाल हो गया था पर मरता क्या न करता !
अगले दिन सुबह चेकआउट से पहले गुड न्यूज़ आ गई की बुकिंग हो गयी है; जिप्सी होटल से रिसीव कर लेगी | चलो!
सुबह का टाइम मैंने शिल्पग्राम में जाकर बिताया, रणथम्भोर रोड पर ही ये शिल्पग्राम है जहाँ आपको लोकल फ्लेवर में खाने-पीने सहित आदिवासी महिलाओं द्वारा बनाये गए खूबसूरत राजस्थानी ड्रेसेस, इयररिंग्स,चेन्स, गले के खूबसूरत हार, बांस के साड़ियां, आकर्षक टोपियाँ और जंगल से जुड़ी वो तमाम चीज़े जिन्हे आप याद के तौर पर घर ले जाना पसंद करेंगे |
पास में रणथम्भोर का अद्वितीय संग्रहालय है ऐसी चीज़ मेरे से छूट जाये ऐसा हो नहीं सकता |
संग्रहालय में आपको टी १९ बाघिन की बहादुरी की किस्से मिलेंगे, खूबसूरत पेंटिंग्स के साथ-साथ जंगली जानवरो की असली खाल के मुखौटे एक तलक़ आपको अचंभित कर देंगे |
ये सब देखते हुए कब १ बज गया पता ही नहीं चला, मैं वापस ट्रेवल एजेंट के पास आके अपनी जिप्सी का वेट करने लगा | लगभग २.१५ तक जिप्सी रणथम्भोर नेशनल पार्क की ओर रवाना हो चुकी, जिप्सी जोन-३ में घुसने को फारेस्ट ऑफिस से पर्मिशन का इंतेज़ार कर रही थी, जोन -३ के गेट पे एक विशाल बरगद का पेड़ था, सामने घाना जंगल पता नहीं क्यों मैं जंगल बुक की कहानी में खो गया था , जिप्सी में बैठे सभी के चेहरे पे एक डर, रोमांच, विस्मय, कौतूहल और बाघ को देखने की तीव्र इच्छा अपने चरम पर थी |
जंगल में घुसते ही सांभर के झुण्ड हमारा रास्ता काट गए; कैमरे की क्लिक की आवाज़ और चेहरे पर ख़ामोशी के सिवाय कुछ न था |
जंगल की ख़ामोशी में जो शोर था वो न जाने क्यों मीठा लग रहा था | जिप्सी कुछ दूर ही चली थी की हमारा सामना शैतानी कर रहे लंगूरों से हुआ | ये हमें बिन बुलाये मेहमान जैसे इग्नोर कर रहे थे | कुछ दूरी पर एक छोटे से पोखर में जंगली सूअरों की मस्ती चल रही थी ये कीचड़ में न जाने क्या ढूंढ कर खा रहे थे और आपसी धक्का मुक्की में मुझे ये यकीन करा रहे थे की यहाँ बाघ तो हो ही नहीं सकता और मुझे देखना था बाघ , रणथम्भोर का राजा !
सीढ़ी खड़ी चट्टानों के मनोरम दृश्य; हरे भरे ढाक,आम,जामुन,पीपल के पेड़ जंगल की खूबसूरती में चार चाँद लगा रहे थे | जंगल में घूमते हुए लगभग ढाई घंटे हो गए थे पर बाघ जी ने अभी तक दर्शन नहीं दिया था |
मैं मायूस हो गया, अरमान पानी में बहने ही वाले थे की अचानक लंगूरों और हिरनों की ज़ोर ज़ोर से आवाज़े आने लगीं | गाइड ने बताय की ये कॉलिंग है जानवरों की, इसका मतलब है ख़तरा !!! आसपास कोई न कोई हिंसक जानवर है वो तेंदुआ भी हो सकता है और बाघ भी |
इनकी आवाज़े धीरे धीरे पास आ रही थीं, मेरे से रहा नहीं गया और मैं जिप्सी पे खड़ा होके उस हिंसक जानवर को देखने की कोशिश करने लगा | जैसे जैसे बंदरों की आवाज़ पास आ रही थी वैसे वैसे ही हमारा टाइम दूर हो रहा था, पांच बजने वाले थे |
दुर्भाग्य से मैं वो तेंदुआ या बाघ देखने में असफल रहा | दिल मायूस हो गया पर क्या करूं! गॉइड ने बताया टाइगर या लेपर्ड दिखना किस्मत पर है | ख़ैर ! ये नहीं दिखे तो क्या हुआ ! जंगल का वो नज़ारा अपने आप में किसी सपने से कम नहीं था | इन् जंगली यादों को समेटे मैं पार्क से बाहर आ चुका था; इस आत्मविश्वास के साथ की अगली बार देख कर ही मानूँगा; यहां न सही तो कहीं और !
शाम की ट्रेन वापस मुझे दिल्ली के शोर-गुल में ले जाने को तैयार थी | मैं टी एल के इमेल्स को इग्नोर करता हुआ
जानवरों की उस कॉलिंग का इंतज़ार कर रहा था जिसका मतलब होता है की 'आसपास कोई हिंसक जानवर है '|
The lukewarm incense took me today, but this dumb noise did not let it. Today, the cold weather between Delhi's noisy day and night has allowed me to roam all the way. On the morning of 26th December I started packing bags, in the afternoon the train was from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station to Sawai Madhopur. By taking cold-drinks and chips, I sat in my chair car bogie.
That same train ran at 1.35 pm and reached by about 7.30, I reached at the Sawai Madhopur railway station, the beautiful paintings of the station, the tiger, the bear and the deer increased my curiosity. There is an auto-stand on the left hand side of the station and you can find the foods like Poori-Sabzi, tea. I was hungry, so I ate a lot of foods and sip tea (which is my life). While doing all this I booked an online hotel. One thing I would like to say; The people here are quite calm and help people like my experience.
When you are choosing hotels, if you choose Hotels nearby Ranthambore Road then it will be much better, hotels around Shilpgram are also quite good.
When I arrived at the hotel, I got an amazement news that in the day today a woman who had gone to the wood cutting in the Ranthambhore forest had been killed by the tiger!I was filled with a little sad and slightly curious, I came to my room quietly and started freshening.
In the morning,there was another bad news in such a "Booking will not be done by the counter now, it must be online" When checked, the booking has been closed, it seemed as though the tiger had refused to make an appointment, but I was not going to lose courage.
Because the plan of Tiger Safari was canceled in Ranthambore National Park, the next morning I decided to see Ranthambore Fort. In the morning, I caught sharing-auto and reached at auto stand then i took the jeep in 50 rupees, which was a sharing jeep, in half an hour the jeep became full and the jeep jammed out of that historic heritage towards Ranthambore fort.
The dust was on the road in half way, but as soon as the dusty path ended, the beautiful mountains of Aravali were ready to welcome with their green shades. In the middle of the way, longurs were busy to take toll tax, whereas the black bucks, spotted deer,Indian gazelle and Nilgai were engaged in Pet-pooja (dumping their stomach) in the middle of the adjacent adjoining shrubs and dense trees. Looking at the ancient hills of Aravali on the way, a small river fell; Although the water was low, the most interesting thing was that there was a guideline on the sign board to be cautious of crocodiles which was very interesting.
Jeep was raging in thick forests and it was in front of the castle.
There is no entrance fee in the fort, the climb is slightly higher but you can create an excuse to relax while watching the beautiful scenes of the nature. The fort is quite old; Built around the turn of the 10th century, this fort is giving great testimony to the bearings of countless attacks. This fort is spread over 102 hectares, it also comes under the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The main attractions of the fort are Jogi Mahal, Padam Talab, temple of Trinetra Ganesh ji, Jain temple, Battis khambha, Annapurna temple, Rani Haveli, Naulakha gate etc.
It is important to give a day's time to this beautiful fort, to cover all the historical events. I saw this unsurpassed specimen of Indian history. With the desire to see the tiger and the jungle together, it was time to take a leave from this historic fort. When I returned to the hotel, I got an idea of using "Jugaad" power, i ran away immediately towards the Travel Agent, which was only a few steps away from my hotel. Talked about this and he offered me gypsy in 1500 rupees; That too without guilt; It was decided that tomorrow's shift,shift-timing was afternoon from 2 to 5 o'clock, he also told me that whether it will get it or not!
Good news came out,safari has been booked before the checkout in the morning; Gypsy will receive from the hotel. Let's go!
In the morning time, I spent my time in Shilpgram, on the Ranthambore road, this is Shilpgram, where you can buy beautiful Rajasthani dresses, earrings, chains, beautiful necklaces, bamboo sarees, charming hats that all made by tribal women, including food and drink in local flavors. All the things related to the forest that you would like to take home as a memory.there is a unique museum of Ranthambore near this, such things can not be missed by me.
In the museum, you will find the stories about T19-a brave tigress, along with beautiful paintings as well as the real skins of wild animals, an eyelash will surprise you.
After looking all these things,I came back to Travel Agent and started to weave my gypsy. Approximately 2.15 pm, Gypsy was heading towards Ranthambore National Park, waiting for permission from the Forest Office to enter the Gypsy in Zone-3, there was a huge banyan tree on the gate, in front of this; does not know Why I was lost in the story of the Jungle Book, the intense desire to see a fear, thrill, astonishment, curiosity on everyone's faces in the gypsy was at its peak.
As we entered in the jungle, the herds of Sambhar cut off our way; There was nothing except the sound of the camera's click and the silence on the face.
The sound which was in the silence of the forest seemed to be sweet . The gypsy had gone a few steps away from the languors, they were seeing us as uninvited guests. At some distance the wild pigs were roaming in a small puddle;they were eating and pushing each other although they were believing us that the tiger could not be here but I had to see the tiger ,The King of Ranthambore!
Panoramic view of the steep rocks; The green furrows, mango, berries, peepal trees were enhancing the beauty of the forest. It had been around two and a half hours while roaming in the forest, but Tiger had not yet appeared.
I was depressed, dream was about to flutter in the water, suddenly the voices of the languors and the deer began to sound loud. The guide has told that the calling of the animals, it means the danger !!! There is some violent animal around that it can be a leopard or a tiger.
Their voices were slowly approaching, I did not want miss this moment,I stood on a gypsy and started trying to see that violent animal. As the voice of monkeys approaching, our time was getting away like that, it was five o'clock.
Unfortunately I failed to see that leopard or tiger. I was heartbroken but what to do! Guide told that the appearance of Tiger or Leopard is depend on destiny. Well! If this does not appear then what happened! This view of the forest was not less than any dream in itself. I had come out of the park with these wild memories; With this confidence, I will look at the next time; Not right here or else!
The evening train was ready to take me back to Delhi.I was tugging my manager's e-mails and thinking that the of calling of the animals, it means the danger !!! There is some violent animal around that it can be a leopard or a tiger..........
