Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the world-class treks that take you to the base of Mt. Everest. This 14 days trekking package has been highly acknowledged as ‘’ One of the World’s Best Treks” listed by National Geographic. Your journey to the base of Mt. Everest starts with a spectacular mountain flight directly from Kathmandu to Lukla and then you make trek same day following the trail to Phakding village. Next morning you continue to trek through upper Phakding following the Dudh Kosi valley, past the Sagarmatha national park and interesting villages, Buddhist monasteries until you reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa‘s biggest settlement in Nepal after a couple of hours of gentle walk. Namche, a meeting-point of all trekkers, is spread in a horseshoe shape around the valley. Following lunch, you can spend some time looking through the curio shops in search of a bargain. It will be a tough climb. But you will have a glimpse of Mt Everest all through the way. It sounds incredible when you walk in the footsteps of legendary adventurers and mountaineers to the ultimate destination of Mount Everest. In Everest Base Camp trekking you will walk all the way through the land of the Sherpa people who are the original inhabitants of the Everest region.

Trekking in Everest region gives you a great opportunity to step foot at the Base camp of Mt Everest which is, indeed, once in a life time experience for every adventure enthusiasts. After Everest base camp we ascend Kalapathar early in the morning to see the wonderful views of the Himalayas which include four world’s highest peaks above 8000 m. namely, Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m) and Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and other breathtaking mountain peaks. Once we reach our destination to EBC and the Kalapathar we make return journey following the same route back to Lukla and then catch flight back to Kathmandu to end Everest Base Camp trekking in Nepal. Trek to Everest Base Camp does not require you to be an athlete or experienced hiker and climber. Anyone in good physical fitness and who exercises on a regular basis can comfortably and safely complete this trekking.
