Jorasanko Thakurbari in Kolkata is the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore. He was born here and took his last breath at this place.

Guide information:
Most of the building have been converted into museum which is of three floor and flanks two wings of the building.
One should visit the museum to know the vastness of this person whose introduction can't be limited to only being a literary genius.

You need to take a ticket of 50 INR for Photography.
Photography 📸 inside the museum is strictly prohibited 🚫
You have to walk barefoot in the museum 👣
The guards who double up as guides in their respective sections have ample knowledge about the portion they are entitled to.
