Imagine roaming around the “City of Joy” with just ONE e-pass!! West Bengal Tourism Department just made that happen. “Discover Kolkata” pass was introduced in December 2022 to provide easier access to tourists around all the major tourist attractions of the city. However, there a lot many visitors who are still not aware of this facility that is available.
With this integrated city pass, a visitor can visit as many as 25 attractions across the city, over a period of seven days!! In fact, visitors will not even have to wait in line to purchase tickets and instead just scan the QR-code based pass.
Cost of “Discover Kolkata” E-pass
There are three types of passes available:
1. North Zone
Indian Citizens
Adult: INR 350
Child: INR 95
2. South Zone
Adult: INR 190
Child: INR 65
3. All Zone
Adult: INR 540
Child: INR 160

How do you book?
Go to the site Discover Kolkata -> Input your phone number -> OTP will be generated -> Add the OTP -> You will be logged in -> Scroll towards the bottom of the page -> You will find the list of zone -> Click on the zone which you want to buy -> Select the attractions you want to see -> Fill the information on the right side of the page -> Make the payment -> Voila!! You will be issued the ticket and no stress of standing in line to buy tickets!
