LUCKNOW must be in everyone's bucket list which offers a lot different flavors of food. Its been said Kabab can be made for non-veg lovers but Lucknow do offers different options for Veg Kabab as well. Lucknow celebrates life by having good food, its not just good it is awesome.
There are a lot of places which offers great taste of kabab and biryani but there are always some places which we just can't miss. IDRIS BIRYANI, TUNDAY KABABI, DASTARKHAWAN (TULSI THEATRE) , ROYAL CAFE, DUS NABBE (KHAU GALLI).
Itinerary for Lucknow:
Stay near to Gomtinagar or KaiserBagh area which is a Junction area. Railway station is just 4 km and airport is almost 14 km from KaiserBagh area. Start your day with Sharma k Khasta kachori as breakfast. Tourist places like Chota Immambara, Bada Immambara, Teeli Wali Masjid, Clock Tower all are near by one can take E-Ricksaw or Auto to reach Bada Immambara. Suggestion is stat with Bada immambara which has a ticket counter, ticket costs Rs 50 /- for an adult which will cover Bhool Bhulaiya, Bada Immambara, Chota Immambara and Shahi Hamam. There are multiple guides who will charge Rs 150/- per ticket to guide you to Bhool Bhulaiya which will take you to top and view of lucknow city from top is pretty amazing and Shahi Bauli (Stepwell). If someone wants to experience Horse ride they can take the ride to Chota Immambara or from Chota Immambara to Clock Tower. It just costs Rs 50/- for one place. It will advisable to not perchase any dress material from that area as they charge very high price. After visiting all places have lunch at Dastarkhawan (Parantha and Chicken Masala) and book a cab to Ambedkar Memorial Park, sunset from here is amazing. After which book a cab and visit Marine Drive as well. For Dinner, Tunday Kababi is best place to have mouth melting Galouti Kabab and Parantha.
One can rent a scooty, bike to explore the city but if not renting it is advisable to book OLA,UBER,RAPIDO auto/cab to explore the city as well as for shopping. For Shopping do visit Aminabad Market for reasonable price for LUCKNOW CHIKANKARI Kurtis/Kurtas, Sarees and many more. Do not take local auto as auto drivers takes tourists to their tied shops and will ask to shop from those shops itself since they earn some commission from those shops to drop tourists to those shops. Also Lucknow do have Asia's Largest Mall that is LULU MALL, do visit the MALL it is beautiful. Basket Chat from Royal Cafe is must which is in Hazratganj, Mutton Biryani from IDRIS BIRYANI is also must. Also try Prakash Kulfi for dessert. MALAI PAN from Asrey Sweets is cherry on the cake which is only available in Lucknow.
