In the Land of Enchanted Sunlight

There are may reasons one can travel to Uttarakhand. But there is only one reason you actually travel to Kumaon, that is your love for the mountains. The serene beauty that it beholds can give you a lifetime experience. The folklore, the songs, the music, everything has it's own meaning and somehow you feel connected to it.

You can just sit quietly and listen the wind rumble and watch the beautiful sunset across the valley in a cloud cuddled mountain or you can sit in group around the bonfire and sing and dance. Feel free to do whatever you seek, the mountains will grant you the infinity.

Since, it was monsoon we were blessed to have some of the most serene views on the earth, especially when you are already roasted in Delhi heat. The rains will calm your parched soul to a certain extent that you get rejuvenated and you are ready to face the world (again). The smell of soggy forest, and it's whiff was divine, and it will definitely makes you feel high.

Don't just sit and read, go out and start exploring the untouched mountains. Himalayas loved us and it sure will love you too.
