For the desire of solo travel of many travel dreamers this is a land of serene beaches beyond the lushy green hills on the shore of picturesque Arabian sea where I finally made it to this place called gokarna
Situated westcostal region of Karnataka.
How to reach
One can get a sleeper bus from banglore to gokarna cross which is a 10 hours journey that means an overnight journey .http://www.redbus.com
After dropping off at gokarna cross .
If you are on a budget and have some patience , wait for a local ksrtc bus that takes you into the town and charges only rs 20 .
Or If you are tired of the trippy sleeper journey and you have a gang ,can take an auto from there directly into town and one had to be ready to negotiate with autowala because they charge rs 200 - 300 and it's also a good deal if you are group of people .
It was late monsoons and the sprinkles of rain were already pouring making the weather more cool and romantic.
I dropped of at gokarna cross on a beautiful rainy morning waiting for the local bus with my rain coat on me .
I hopped into the local bus that welcomed me with an unoccupied window seat cherishing me with the views and their isolated culture , the bus took me through tiny jungle into this temple town from where I decided to walk towards my stay exploring along the streets of this hippie town .
Streets of gokarna
Now iam somewhere far from my place but close to my travel tribe where I'm walking along the streets of temple town .
The streets of gokarna gives glance of local tribe and also of wanderers doing some shopping and moving around for local food stops.
Hippie culture is seen in the streets within the painting and graphity of love and peace.

Walking along the streets alone I made my way up hill toward this backpackers favourite hostel named zostel which have beautiful views from the hilltop.
Gokarna offers many places of choices to stay , from a budget stay at beach side shacks and backpackershostels to luxury resorts.
As it was my first solo trip I booked my stay in zostelgokarna for 2 nights

Zostel also have cafe named mantra cafe where some nice music is being played all the time where one can chill with yourself with your beer and exotic foods from the cafe.
Zostel have a beautiful view of the long stretch of gokarna main beach from the top ,which is obsolute breathtaking view to our eyes where I spent all my chill time listening to music and looking at the serene beach and the ocean .

GOKARNA BEACH TREK
Expecting nothing but just to be with myself on my unplanned trip ,I realized it to be wasted without any adventure in my trip .
I joined zostel team where I met a group of people all are from different cities of different states.As it was monsoon it was raining since my firstday of my trip
Finally on my last day the sun was out and it was a clear day to treck yaayy!
We reached the start point of this unexplored trail by auto from zostel we started off after a small interactive session where we introduced overselves to each other that helped us a lot made our trek more comfortable and more fun.
I was into woods along the path to see the secluded beaches of gokarna .
The trail takes you from the hill top to down towards the secluded beachs which you won't expect it untill you see it with your own eyes.
Gokarna main beach is mostly known for its local crowd where most of localites are seen
It has the beautiful longest stretch which is to be must taken for a walk to witness the infinite love affair of waves and beach .
Zostel have direct trail from the top to gokarna main beach.
Kudle beach -one of my favourite beaches where I witnessed the most beautiful sunsets on my first day itself
Kudle have many cafes offering food and stay . unfortunately it was Monsoon only few were open because of off season .
Hippies and foreigners can be found here doing their yoga and playing with the waves, starring at sunsets.
Om beach - this beach is formed in the shape of OM
We can see the huge structure of the beach stretch that is so carved naturally stunning and beautiful in the shape of OM .
There was only one cafe open there which is also place to visit in om beach. (NAMASTE CAFE)
Take a walk , play with sand ,or sit under a tree spend some time with your self .
I had most peaceful time here in om beach where no one was there at some point only myself and the ocean ,all the beach was mine where I found myself falling in love for the calmness and serenity of the ocean and the lushy green hills surrounding me made me feel how small iam in this lap of mother nature that also taught me that being human and experiencing all this beauty of earth through my eyes , pouring love for myself admist mountains and beach
Half-moon beach is the most secluded and short stretch of clear sand , very neat with vast blues of ocean .
Paradise beach- best beach to stay awake in your tent looking at stars and the ocean that give you a chance to experience interesting bioluminescence that lights up your magical night

It gave me a most beautiful memories of my first solo trip of my life
This is most empowering and inspiring journey of my life that helped me to know a lot about myself and inspired to travel more
