Amsterdam Centraal

The night passed like a tracer bullet as I was enervated yesterday. I had a very good night sleep in the upper tier of a double bunk bed in the dormitory room. After getting freshened up, it was time to fill the belly for another travel packed day ahead. Breakfast was pretty sumptuous ranging from corn-flakes to Orange Juices to Breads etc. We took a train from Sloterdijk to Amsterdam Central (10 mins of travel time) to officially begin our rendezvous with Europe. After lot of discussions, headbanging here and there, unanimously, it was decided to take a hop-on-hop-off bus ride to economically explore the Amsterdam City area. This will save you time and money during your stay in Amsterdam. Choose between a 24- or a 48 hour ticket and see all the best highlights in Amsterdam. You can hop on and off the buses and boats at every stop. The GPS audio guide on board is available in 18 languages and free Wi-Fi is included on all buses and boats.

Finish Day 1 indulging in the best french fries Amsterdam offers - at Manneken Pis. Located near Amsterdam Centraal, it's a small fries shop and extremely popular with the tourists. One pack is more than enough for dinner. As you eat the fries dripping with sauces, reminiscence about your first day in Amsterdam.
