Colva Beach

Colva is a village in south goa and the beach stretches about for about 2.4kms of white sand and coconut palms, it is a famous tourist destination with budget hotels, shacks, pubs etc. It was a popular getaway for the Portugese when they were in India, this place has alot of migrants from Portugal, Brazil, Angola etc.

I was staying in Panjim and from here, Cabo de Rama fort was around 65 KMe . We were doubtful to take such a long ride on bike and were thinking if it would be worth going to the fort. Since all other options were not that exciting, we decided to go to this fort after all. We decided to go to Colva beach and have lunch there because it was almost mid way and we were expecting to find good restaurants in that area.We reached Colva during afternoon and spent some time there. Colva is a white sand beach, better beach than famous north Goa beaches in my opinion. Here is a glimpse of how it looks :

Things to do : Shopping and water activities. 4  Cola Beach. It's a beach for the peace loving soul. Cola is quite off the track and reaching there is a bit of a task but believe me it's worth every task and trouble one may face while finding their way. It's a paradise that's still not lost.
