Desert Safari - The safari car will come to pick you up from your hotel at around 3PM. It will be better if you give an early hour for pickup as it is good if you sit in the front seat for comfortable experience. The car will accomodate 3couples. After the pickup the driver will stop near the desert where you can have refreshments. Here the tyres will be deflated so as to make the car ready for Dune bashing. The dune bashing part of the trip is a bumpy and thrilling ride that lasts about an hour. The vehicles travel in convoy and stick close together as they perform their stunts. You will enjoy the slipping and the sliding, the skidding and the spinning of the vehicle.
2. Dune bash in the Arabian desert (Extends till evening): If you start feeling inquisitive when your driver starts deflating the tires of your swanky Land Cruiser or insists you tighten your seat belt even at the back seat, take my suggestion, and hold your thought.A ride into sand dunes explains everything. I am sure you would be told, but make sure you have light lunch that day; all the kebabs for later, please! This ride is Dubai’s answer to the western roller-coasters and unlike the west, this ends up in a luxurious camp in the middle of the Arabian desert. I surely made up for my lunch with the kebabs on offer. Sit around on the cushions, try a whiff at the shisha and enjoy the glamorous belly dance show. I felt like a well-fed and well-entertained Sheikh, I am sure you would too.
Enjoy a night out on the dunes of the vast desert with the Desert Safari. If you are lucky, you might spot a black buck amidst the golden sand. There are several companies which take tourists to their allotted spot and entertain them to some belly dancing and delicious food. One can even enjoy the camel rides which are offered. The desert safari starts in the evening, and after seeing the sun drown in the sandy expanse, the journey proceeds on wars to the camp. It takes about 3 - 4 hours for the entire experience to culminate in an ending of pleasant memories. This should definitely be on the top of your 'Things - to - do - in - Dubai' list.
