DAY 3:-The next day I left for Palm Jumeriah, the famous and only man made Island. Post lunch at Atlantic, we left for other local places around the city and arrived back at hotel in evening.Just to mention I was living on sharing basis and my roommate was missing since I arrived, later that day the periodical roommate arrived and offered me a drink. I won't say I wasn't desperate for one but finally I got a company to drink with.
5. Drive through Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis hotelWorld's largest man made island was constructed in span of 5 years by the team specially called from Holland. It looks like a stylised palm tree even from the space. The island hosts luxury hotels and resorts, vilas, restaurants, food trucks, water sports and sky diving.
It was a damn lazy day but anyhow we had to enjoy in the pool. Perhaps, the Royal Beach and the Royal Pool had so many people relaxing and enjoying. We had our breakfast and went straight to the pool side. The beach had so many small fishes trying to escape from naked bodies. Entering the pool, my body got rejoiced. I swam there for more than 3 hours playing with the foreign kids who were swimming better than me. We had to checkout from Atlantis at almost 12 pm.
After the whole tiring day, we visited The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Varieties of fishes and marine life present there delighted me. The huge glass windows in the middle of the east tower attracted tourists where we can watch people diving and can also dive inside the aquarium. I don't know diving that was the worst part for me. Various shops and the essence of perfumes made me buy some very strong smelling perfumes. The beauty of the hotel is what attract tourists the most. The alluring infrastructure and heavenly architecture attracts thousands of people daily. We had our dinner in Kaleidoscope which was a huge buffet having cuisines of 5-6 countries.
Entering the rooms, my heart gladdened because finally we had a balcony which wasn't locked. The view from my balcony was mesmerizing. The rooms were divided in two towers EAST and WEST. My room was in East Tower. Soon we visited Aquaventure Water park. We dressed ourselves accordingly. Huge water rides and many adventurous rides grabbed our attention. The single and group slides where the most enjoyable ones. The best was the hotel tour that we had sitting in a tube and just flowing with the river like waves which gave us the feeling of rafting. The whole concept of this water park was so enjoyable. The Dolphin Bay was the center of attraction.
Skydive attached to an experienced instructor at Skydive Dubai's premium location, the Palm Zone, for 1999 AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) (₹34993). No experience required!
The PALMTour this man-made island in the shape of a Palm tree. The best way to get an amazing view of the palm islands is to take a metro from the city. Take a stroll on the pathway facing the endless Arabian sea while you get a snack from the seasonally installed food trucks alongside the road.To spend an entire day there visit the stunning Atlantis, the Palm resort for various activities, for example:• Adventure Water Park• Michigan starred restaurants• The lost chambers Aquarium• Multiple Bars
3) Palm Jumeirah A feat of human achievement, an artificial archipelago created in the middle of the sea. You can take the monorail from the Gateway towers to the Atlantis hotel on Palm Jumeirah or hire a taxi, get off and walk the promendae. Along the promenade you'll find great views to click pictures of the entrance to 'Atalntis The Palm'. If you have more than 2 days in Dubai, a visit to Atalntis is recommended especially their amazing water park with jaw dropping slides.
Visit the extraordinary artificial island of Palm Jumeirah and see one of the most iconic hotels in the world, the Atlantis. This megaproject is audacious and downright outlandish but totally worth witnessing.
Palm Jumeirah – an artificial archipelago in the Persian Gulf shaped in the form of a palm tree was billed the 8th wonder of the world. You can sail around Palm Jumeirah in a yacht or a speedboat, take a stroll or just sit on the rocks and listen to the waves.
Shopping is exhausting; all that indulgence must be followed up with a nice rest-the Middle Eastern way. I checked in at Al Manzil, a four star property in the heart of Old Town Dubai. Though it was four star, Al Manzil had all the old world charm and Middle Eastern authenticity one would look for in this part of the world.
The Palm Jumeriah is an artificial archipelago in the shape of a palm tree. I have always dreamt of personally being here in The Palm. I have always been impressed by its architectural and engineering wonders. The videos and photos I have seen truly speak for themselves. The Palm is really spectacular and a must-visit when in Dubai.
