The next morning, we had the first appointment at Iceland's most touristy place - The Blue Lagoon. While it is very touristy, you can't call your Iceland trip complete without going there. We spent a good 3 to 4 hours soaking in the geothermal hot waters.
Hailed as one of the wonders of the world by the National Geographic, this geothermal spa is truly a gem in its own right. The sustainable energy produced by the Power Station shows combines with nature to form blue milky water of this wellness spa.
A dip in the mineral rich Geothermal Blue Lagoon situated in the pure heart of Icelandic landscape is an experience in itself. The soothing Blue Lagoon geothermic pools are spectacular where black-sand beaches and silica-blue water make for surprising scenery.
