Situated in the Shivalik Hills, Arki is a very small town in the Solan District and was once the capital of Ajai Singh of the Baghal Empire. The main attraction here is the fort which was built in the 18th century. The fort was in a blend of the Mughal and Rajput styles and the lavish lives of the royal people are still known about in local tales. The other attractions are the Arki Bazar, Muturu Mahadev Temple, jakholi Temple, Shakti Mahadev Temple, Gangeshwar Mahadev and the Bhadrakali Temple.
