Day 7: Naivasha > Nakuru / BogoriaYou have a choice here. Either chase rhinos in Lake Nakuru (2 hours drive from Naivasha) or drive up further north to see the pink flamingoes at Lake Bogoria. We made our choice and honestly, it was really not the right one.The drive to Bogoria is long (3 hours from Nakuru/5 hours from Naivasha) and the roads are bad. Bonus- we crossed the Equator!

After lunch, we headed out to Nakuru. Nakuru is a little town in Kenya, far from the madness of the main city, making it more peaceful and friendly compared to Nairobi. How to reach: Nakuru is about 160 kilometres from Nairobi. Driving down takes about an hour and a half to reach.

DAY 2 - After breakfast we make our way to Nakuru approximately 160 kms from Nairobi. The Lake Nakuru National Park is overflowing with wildlife and not to mention Lake Nakuru itself, the view of which from Babboon is stunning. Tonight we will stay at a beautiful camp site located on a dairy farm on the outskirts of Nakuru Town and depending on what time we arrive we may have the option of a farm visit.
