Reviews of Skukuza Rest Camp • 1
Our day started before sunrise. We had some tea and oats, watched the sunrise and were picked up by our safari guide. We had booked day safaris with Africa Spears and they provided great service - our guide was a great animal spotter and had interesting information about animal behavior, birds, trees and plants. We went around Lower Sabie region in the park and spotted Lions crossing the road, plenty of giraffes, impalas, hyenas, elephant herds, birds, warthogs and a lone rhino. We stopped on two occasions for a lovely breakfast overlooking a river and then for lunch along the way. The day was clear, bright blue skies and white puffy clouds. At around 6pm we checked-in at a different rest camp called Berg-en-Dal. Later, watched the sunset, had a relaxed dinner at their cozy restaurant and crashed.
