Tirupati Balaji, a sacred place, and one of the busiest pilgrim destinations. Over 60,000 to 80,000 devotees visit Venkateswara Temple to take darshan every day. An atheist or theist wishes to visit the temple once. It is one of the richest devotional places.

Despite many wishes to visit Tirupati from different parts of the country, many of them struggle to find the right way. Many have asked me various questions on my recent Tirupati video, so I thought of guiding you through the procedure. You can ask any question for an instant reply; as I have traveled to Tirupati many times.

There are 3 ways to get darshan

1) Sarvadarshanam (Free darshan to all)SDF

2) Divya Darshan (Trekking the hill)

3) Special Entry Darshan (Rs. 300)

Devotees can go inside the temple which has a direct entry without any kind of ticket. Among the 24 hours in a day, 18 to 20 hours allotted for this type of Darshan but this Darshan can take around 2 to 3 hours or can take up around 5 to 10 18 hours depending on the festival season.

1) Sarvadarshanam is a free way to get the darshan of Venkateswara, anyone can get darshan by the means of Sarvadarshanam. Entry for this darshan is from Vaikuntam Queue Complex. It open for around 18 to 20 hours per day. Many facilities are provided for devotees.

2) People who want to go up the hill by trek can go with this option. There is a Alipiri gate near the checking point, from where you can start the trek and from the Srivari Mettu footpath. Free buses are available from the railway station to Alipiri or Srivari Mettu. A free luggage counter is available at Alipiri, also free meals, free darshan is made available for pilgrims who trek.

3) This is introduced for a quick entry to the temple for the pilgrims. This ticket costs Rs. 300 and one laddu prasadam is free of cost with it. Pilgrims can book the ticket online, checking the available slots for darshan at Internet Booking ( www.tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in)
