The Phewa lake is 'grand' to say the least; Good as much to walk up as it is to relax. The lakeside street is one of the happening areas in town I'm sure, with good options to stay put and to unwind. Tourists milling all over, this again is pretty much the 'touristy' part of the town, and looks forever alive ! Stroll around, have a few beers by the lake and party until midnight ( Check out 'busy bee'; It's not hard to find ! ). During the day, head out to the various view points ( The most famous being Sarangkot ), or indulge in adventure ( rafting, flying, trekking ! ) .... Pokhara is smaller than Kathmandu, but a much quieter and a more sparsely populated place to put up !
