Built decades ago, a visit to some famous structures such as the English Church, Fisherfolk Temple and Odathil Mosques can give you the perfect dose of Thalassery culture. Another attraction in Thalassery is the Overburry’s Folly, which is a beautiful picnic spot situated on a hill that gives you a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. Located just a kilometre away, Dharmadom Island, an uninhabited and pristine isle with bushes and coconut palms, has become a hot new tourist attraction in Thalassery. Muzhappilangad is another enchanting beach spot, located seven kilometres from Thalassery and is the longest drive-in-beach of India.
