Day 1

It was a road trip from Bangalore - Kanyakumari - Kovalam - Bangalore.

We started from Bangalore and headed towards Kanyakumari. We wanted to see the last main land point of India and how it looks during sun rise and sun set. As we decided to have a night journey to avoid traffic on road. Google gave estimated time of 12 hours but we did complete the journey in 9 hours. Roads are amazingly good and smooth thanks to Tamil Nadu.

Day 2

We reached Kanyakumari early morning at 3AM and took a stay near to sun rise point. We reached the point to see the sun rise and had breakfast on local restaurant. Breakfast was good and justify the taste taste of local food. Then we headed towards to Vivekananda memorial. After taking the fairy to memorial. It was good peaceful time spent.

Day 3

We finished sight seeing till the afternoon and decided to visit Kovalam, Kerala which is 80kms from Kanyakumari. Then we started our journey to Kovalam and took a stay near to Light house beach. Thanks to Oyo rooms to provide us an amazing stay with beach view. Evening was pleasant with cold drink with a beach view balcony. Next morning we roam around in Kovalam and did taste some local cuisine. I must say traveling gives you amazing experience about food and culture of the place.

Day 4

It was day 4 and we were about to reach Bangalore with lots of good road trip memories. We did complete 1700 kms in 4 days. It was one of the most memorable trips for me. Special thanks to Dada. Sanjoy Das who tough me a good highway driving skills and my lovely wife to Ayushi for arranging the trip.
