Gujarat is popular mainly for its heritage monuments, palaces , cultural festivals and food. Apart from these it is also a bird watcher's paradise with its many beautiful lakes like Nal sarovar, Narayan Sarovar, Randarda lake, Lalpari lake, Hamirsar lake etc. Situated in the outskirts of Rajkot, this beautiful Randarda Lake has become a popular bird watching site with a large number of migratory birds arriving at the water body. I went to this place on a winter morning with my friends. Though I couldn't click the birds with my basic lens kit, it was an amazing experience to spot those beautiful birds in their natural living. The watch tower gives bird eye view of the lake. Many beautiful flower species can also be found here.

One can spend their morning here to get best views of sunrise and relax in lap of nature.
