2. Newlands Cricket Stadium, Cape Town - South Africa. 

Being overlooked by Table Mountain and Devil's Peak, Newlands is regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world. The ground's official name is "Sahara Park Newlands" but it is still often referred to by its historic name, simply Newlands. A lot of the embankments and hills in the stadium have made way for concrete stands but have not robbed this historical venue of its inherent charm.

3. The Queen's Park Oval - West Indies

One of the most picturesque cricket stadiums, the Queen's Park Oval in West Indies is privately owned by Queen's Park Cricket Club. Apart from the main cricket stadium, it also has a gym, indoor and outdoor cricket practice nets, two squash courts and two outdoor tennis courts.

4. Queenstown Events Centre, New Zealand.

Regarded as one of the most spectacular International cricket venues in the world, this ground is located between Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown International Airport's Runway. Watching a match of cricket here ensure an amazing view of large aircraft taking off and landing.

6. Galle International Stadium, Sri Lanka.

Surrounded by the Indian Ocean, Galle is undoubtedly one of the most scenic cricket grounds in the world. Before being brought up to international cricket standards, it was known as The Esplanade. Unfortunately, the ground bore the brunt of the Asian Tsunami in 2004 and a temporary helipad were constructed there in order to assist the survivors. The stadium was restored with International support and with the help of former cricketers like Shane Warne and Ian Botham.

7. Wormsley Park, Buckinghamshire - England. 

The famous Wormsley cricket ground has played host to games involving biggest stars of the cricket world. From Brian Lara to Viv Richards and Shane Warne, everyone has experienced the joy of playing on this ground. In recent years Wormsley has welcomed the Australians, West Indians, Sri Lankans and South Africans. It was also the venue for the only Test match of the Australian women's tour of England in 2013.
