Devbag beach: { 15°58'01.4"N 73°30'10.7"E }
So I was standing exactly at the location mentioned above facing south, and it reminded me of Sicily (I never been to Sicily, but "The Godfather" reference). Arabian sea at the right and the karli river flowing from the left meet each other in front of your eyes.
On the other side of the river we can see few houses and a graveyard on the slope of the hill, and on the left the waves hustling the golden sand and clean water slyly stealing the sand from under the feet. Devbag village is very clean and calm. very few tourist visit this place, its almost like having a beach exclusive for you.
Devbag is 12 km south from malvan, there are direct buses plying between Mumbai to Malvan. The cheapest way to reach Malvan from Mumbai takes you 7h 27m, which is to take Jan Shatabdi Ex from Mumbai to Kudal then take a taxi from Kudal to Malvan. nearest airport is Goa. Best season to visit is summers and winters.
