For some unknown reasons, I've always found myself standstill whenever any train passes through. Within a fraction of seconds, my mind moves along to the same railway track. The rumbling of engines, screeches, rythmic beats of the wheel tracks and hissing brakes takes takes my heart away. I would be glued to the chatters of divergent people with different tongues and languages, looking for their halts to rush to.

It amazes me how every passenger has its own unique destination and their own distinctive journey leading to it. No two journeys are the same Yet, they are so special to them!

Isn't this symbolic to our human lives? That's how we are; wired in totally different ways, to get to our own distinctive destination. We lead to methods contrasting each other in so many levels. We have our own share of experiences made in laughter and tears. Our own goals and grails, priorities, ways set.

Undeniably, as a pre-teen my mind had been conceived by train of hundred thoughts running errands of wanting to follow a particular path in life. To measure the milestones based on the definition of others seemed like obvious back then.
It was only my 'seventeen old self' that made me learn to celebrate my own individuality and my holy grails in life. Eventually, I understood that it is brave to have your own journey. Proudly, I do not feel myself to be a part of that competition. Where no matter how fast you run, you'd still be a rat. It did never appeal to me. As a different human, working towards a total different life has taught me to be going at my own directions and pace. In between that journey, I pause to cherish the accomplishments of others.

Perhaps, our journeys are so distinctively special. For all I know, this is why I gaze at trains. I look at the excited faces of passengers moving towards their expedition. It gives me a sense of calm knowing how much of abundance the universe can hold, and still be welcoming to more.
