Shree Mata Vaishno Devi trip..

In the chilly morning we three friends moved from jammu to Bhawan shree mata Vaishno devi Katra...

Three friends who make an unscheduled plan to visit shree mata Vaishno Devi at night.

An occasional gossip which is moved to a trip..

Suddenly i said let's visit bhawan all three agreed.. mostly sudden plans are much better than planned trips.. no planning just gear up and go....

Alarms set at 4.30.. wake up at 4.30.. i called them at 5.30 They are already ready.. i don't know how they fall asleep all night due to excitement . I too..

picked up them at 6 and the journey started after a while we are at Katra..

Parked car at Katra... took yatra slip and started moving to destination..after 20 minutes reached at Ist checkpoint which is Banganga... Autos are also available up to Ban ganga almost charges 100/- next to that journey is about 13kms by foot ... Pony, Pithus for excess baggage. palki is too available from Ban Ganga.... Devotes also can opt for heli services available from Niharika. which is nearby to bus stand Katra.it Depands on availability...

We started our journey by foot... And then reached Charan Paduka next to Ban Ganga almost 1km from there .

Take some break and move towards the next halt Ardhkuwari. it is the place where Maa has stayed 9 months, it's a holy spiritual cave..

After the journey of 2 hours we reached there..

The battery cars are available there, but runs on stipulated time.###

Once we thought about traveling by battery car but missed .

The next lot was supposed to be open at 1.30pm then we decided by foot.

Bhawan is up to 6kms from there..

After a long journey we reached there. after darshan of shree maa

Then moved to Bhairav Ghati. the Cable car is available up to there and takes 5 minutes

The return ticket is Rs 100/- per head.

Timings are 8 to 5.

After Darshan we felt blessed, and moved towards Jammu.

Unplanned trips are most effective as planned..
