One of my friends recently posted on social media saying, "The mountains are calling, and I must go." So then I thought of reaching out to the mountains in Himachal Pradesh, since everyone seems to be going there recently. I was truly hurt when the mighty Himachali mountain ranges told me they are overwhelmed by the scores and scores of tourists at the moment. And that - "We need a break!" This plea made sense to me, after all they have lived longer than me carrying such wisdom!

And, before you think I have gone nuts (I mean who hasn't since the lockdown?), what I am trying to tell you is, there are many other hill stations in India which need to be explored!

And, stay with me before some of you get angry at me (breathe in breathe out) for saying that the mountains in Himachal Pradesh need a break. Tell me if you haven't seen any post on social media about the amazing hikes, workcation reels, Maggi and homestays in Himachal Pradesh even once since the past few months? And if you haven't then it's a good thing because you won't be fooled by the belief that India doesn't have any other hill stations that are worthy of that much attention! Especially with the current scenario, it's not completely okay to travel everywhere around India yet, so why not choose a hill station that's closer to where you live?
