The Rich and the wine...

So my main plan was to avoid the typical mumbai and goa journey and to add a new place in between as one day getaway... I could not think of any other place but nashik. It takes few hours to reach nashik from mumbai and I have booked a car to take me to nashik. I would prefer everyone to take a car and that would cost you around 4000 bucks for up and down both from mumbai as the buses available on this route ain't so lovely.

The drive was lovely and fuss-free. We stayed at The Gateway by Taj Nashik which is according to me, the best property in nashik. Its huge and opens to greenery in abundance. You too have options of some budget and mid-class luxury hotels here. Stay at Taj Nashik will be around 6000 bucks per night including your breakfast. After getting refreshed at the hotel, I have rushed for my favourite destination and the reason I have chosen Nashik ie Sula Vineyards. Yes!!!! you have heard it right..I have been craving to be at sula vineyards for long since Sula fest in february happens. It is wonderful that Sula vineyards have grown to be an upper-class chic destination and got the name of India in Wine-Game of the world. You get a decent tour of the vineyards regarding the grapes crushing. wine manufacturing and all the hardwork that the team here at sula undergoes to provide us the best Sula Wines. You have a pretty cafe at the upper deck overlooking the vineyards and trust me you forget soon that you are in india, nothing short of a small village at france or italy. Those who are having love for italian fare can try italian cuisine here at another restaurant inside the vineyards. You also have wine tasting sessions here at a nominal cost but not on dry days so plan your trip accordingly. The rich also having options to rent villa's (private villa) to stay for few nights and find their own italian villagers life within india within a given package. Above all, I found Nashik a calm and serene city growing all around the sula vineyards mostly and a place where the rich gets to have best of the world because when you talk vineyards & wines, you need some paper notes to meet your thirst. Isn't it? But do explore and do a sula session soon.

And see where you want to go from here (ha ha)
