Well, that day of my travel and touring was the most unplanned one but one of the best experience I ever had. So the blog on that had to be mandatorily there.
The experience started with my long stay visit to Rishikesh. I was staying in one of the hotel at Tapovan named as Ubex Home. A decent budget hotel taking care of my basic needs and a good hospitality. Anyways, I will keep this part of writing regarding the good stay experience for some other day.
The day started with a blissful morning walk to Sai Ghat, across the River Ganges. During my stay I had built up the habit of not missing the early sunrise, amidst the beautiful panoramic Himalayan Range and the mystic River Ganges flowing with all its grace and feminity. It was a perfect start and more so with a sip of tea (undying Indian love for tea) at small tea outlet over there.
That day it was not only me but also two of my school friends. We met almost after a period of two years and were lost in the memories of the youthful golden days. The chitter chatter was about the canteen samosas, the basket ball court, the mathematics class, the exam days and what not. Suddenly we realized that we had come quite far, now on the other side of the road. I had been in that soulful city many a times but never seen that place earlier. We thought to explore it then & there.
We started our forward journey to the path unknown and unheard of, and what we came across was magical. It's like the nature's walk into the wild. There were the fountains, the ponds, the crystal clear water and the waterfalls. We tasted the very famous Himalayan pure mineral water, directly from the mountains.
We immersed our feet, we dabbed our face with the refreshing crystal clear water, we played, we laughed and giggled, forgetting the world and the worldly desires. The chirping birds, the babbling stream, the gentle breeze and the dancing trees.. What could be more surreal to that?
