1. Spacious rooms and the view to the gigantic pool
We opted for the Deluxe room which is situated on the ground floor, perfect for 2 people, the room overlooks the gigantic pool providing a wonderful view of the hotel at all times. The room is spacious with all the necessary amenities and has a balcony making it a perfect spot for tea time.
2. Buffet meals at Ambrosia
If there is one aspect we were thoroughly impressed then it's gotta be the buffet meals at their restaurant. All the meals are well curated, providing a good variety of dishes and qualitative food. Despite being buffet meals, the food was always warm and the taste was not compromised. They offer a bunch of cuisines like Indian, Chinese, Italian, Continental, etc
3. Adventure Activities
Tropical Retreat offers a bunch of adventure activities for every age group. Cycling in the air (quite literally) is one of unique experiences we thoroughly enjoyed here. They also have a gaming room and massive Cricket ground to enjoy lots of indoor and outdoor games with your friends and family.
4. Spa
One of the services I thoroughly enjoyed at the property the 20 minutes foot spa which was arranged by the pool in the evening just as the sun was setting and we were sipping on warm tea in the cosy weather. I'd happily go back here just for the relaxing massages. What is also worth mentioning is how effective the foot spa is, it costed Rs. 300 which I think was a pretty sweet deal and something to not miss out on during the stay.
5. Grape Stomping & Wine Tasting
This one we were not expecting at all, Igatpuri is only an hour before the Wine city - Nasik and hence it totally made sense for us to opt for their grape stomping and wine tasting activity. Grape stomping is one of things which seems fun on paper but is even better when you actually do it! One of our most fun, rejuvenating activity is definitely grape stomping. The Wine tasting with cheese and nibbles was the cherry on the cake to the lovely evening. We definitely saved a trip to Nasik to experience Wine tasting in the true sense.
Tropical Retreat is therefore a great choice to enjoy a stress-free and safe staycation in the midst of the pandemic.
