Not everyday, you get an opportunity to play with rare and endangered turtles. But, I did. A few days ago, I won a travel competition to visit Chambal River Valley and Kukrail Reserve Forest, sponsored by Turtle Limited, which is engaged in the conservation and protection of Olive Ridely turtles in India for many years. They recently entered into a partnership with Turtle Survival Alliance – an international organization working towards conservation of endangered species of turtles in several countries across the globe. During this three-day trip, I came to know many things about turtles, tortoise and crocodiles and their conservation. Perhaps, one of my life’s finest moments when I released many baby turtles to Chambal river.

The life of a turtle is as precious as the life of a human being. So, take the pledge and save a turtle.
