Winter is here, and it's time to get excited for a new season. Beaches will empty, tourist towns will quiet down, and amusement park lines will shorten. This beckons the best time of year to hit up Disneyland. Whether you're a Disney fanatic or a movie lover, Disneyland is the place to be. Here are the best spots for every type of vacationer:

For the Instagrammer:

Okay, my fellow Instagrammers, we both know you've snapped a pic (or twenty) before you've even made it to Main Street. Well while you have that phone out, head over to the fire station for a shot of Walt Disney's window.

Grab a 'Gram worthy ice cream sundae at Gibson Girl's, and make sure to check out the Plaza Inn - you'll fall in love with the architecture.

Take a selfie with Walt and Mickey in person. Peruse through Adventureland and enjoy the endless picture possibilities. Eat at Rancho del Zocalo for some seriously stunning murals. Ride the Mark Twain River Boat at sunset - between the colourful water and calm white boat, you'll be in heaven.

At dusk, walk over to Tomorrowland and enjoy the colourful lights. Ride the carousel, and the teacups for some more playful shots, and, finally, fireworks!

For The Adventurer:

Your first stop? Adventureland. Grab an exotic juice at the Tiki bar as you listen to island music and take in the jungle surroundings. Then head on over to the Bazaar and get your inner Indiana Jones on - safari hat and stuffed lion included!

On that note, head on over to the Indiana Jones ride before the lines get too long! Explore the caves and try to spot as many vines and ancient statues as possible. Pro tip - touch EVERYTHING. Who knows, maybe you'll be surprised! The ride itself is so action packed - it's full of torches and rope bridges and snakes... It's a for sure hit for those of you who are all about cliffhangers and worn out hiking boots!

No doubt, you'll have worked up an appetite, so grab some lunch at Bengal BBQ for some worthy grub. After you have filled yourself up on the best jungle food in town, head over to another handful of adventures!

The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is just a couple of steps away, so prepare to battle bloodthirsty pirates and cannonball splashes. Face ghosts in the Haunted Mansion, Brer Fox at Splash Mountain, and finally board the Davy Crockett explorer canoes. Land at Tom Sawyer's island and run around the caves with fellow explorers. Meet the Yeti at the Matterhorn, and dodge meteors on Space Mountain.

When dusk settles, climb up Tarzan's Treehouse. You'll get to cross swinging bridges, and catch incredible sweeping views of the park..

Take a ride on Thunder Mountain - keep your hands up and your belt firmly on! Never ridden on a submarine? Board the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage! Race a car at Autopia, spin as fast as you can at the Teacups, and grab dinner at the Blue Bayou inside the Pirates ride. Watch other buccaneers squeal at Captain Jack Sparrow and dodge flying cannon balls.

For the Kid at Heart:

So, you've been excited for this trip for as long as you can remember. First stop? Grab something to remember it! Buy some classic mouse ears, or glittery notebooks, or whatever speaks to your heart!

Grab some lunch at the Mary Poppins themed Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, as you listen to some good old-fashioned street singers.

Snap a pic with Mickey and Walt in front of the famous pink castle! Stop in the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique and get your princess on.

Fly over London and face Captain Hook with the heroic Pan. If you're lucky, you might run into him strolling through Fantasyland. For the more daring, choose between Pinocchio or Snow White's adventures. Grab a sugary bite at one of the snack stands. Ride on Dumbo, twirl in the teacups, and check the theatre to see who is performing.

Grab some dinner at Daisy's Diner, and keep your eye out for your favourite characters.

At dusk, walk on over to Pixie Hollow and play with some pixie dust! Ride the Astro Orbitor and play in the technicolor night lights with Buzz Lightyear and Yoda!

Once it's completely dark, ride the carousel. It'll probably be the most magical moment of the day!
