We traveled from Mumbai via the early morning flight and had a long layover at the Changi Airport in Singapore. Enough time for us to explore the beautiful terminals at Changi Airport, Singapore. More on that covered in our next blog.

UBUD

We made our way to Ubud the moment we landed in the crowded Ngurah Rai International Airport. We had ordered for a cab pick-up from the hotel we stayed in days before our travel. After a 2-hour journey, we finally made it to our hotel - Ananda Cottages.

Most of the bloggers would recommend starting your Bali Itinerary with Seminyak, but we decided to switch things around and boy we had a great time.

Ubud is a peaceful and quiet place, a perfect place to start your Bali experience, make sure you explore the spiritual and natural beauty of this place, rich in its cultural wealth. Find serenity and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the rural life.

PRO TIP -

~Rent a bike - Price Range IDR 75000 - 80000 per day

~Get a local sim with good data packages from the local markets, avoid getting one from the airport - Price Range IDR 100000

CANGGU

Next stop, we made our way to the vibrant - Canggu, a perfect mix of Ubud and Seminyak. We chose to stay away from the hectic Canggu streets and in a quaint yet luxurious looking villa with a private pool to ourselves. 15 minutes away from our accommodation came what seemed to be the perfect street for some great looking café's serving some the best variety of healthy and junk food, a whole lot of designer & brand stores (Ladies & Gentleman, bet you won't go back without packing some exclusives) and the road that lead to the beach which is the pit stop for Surfers and other water sport enthusiast's. Along the beach are some of our favorite sunset decks and cafes to visit. Make sure to check out the blog on the best places to eat, read more:

We took a day trip to this beautiful blue paradise island which is best described as Heaven! This island is a 45-minute boat ride away from the main island - Sanur Beach to a place which has visuals to die for. A must visit if you are traveling to Bali. This place is known for its iconic cliffs and mesmerizing Kelinging Beach. Make sure you book yourself a guided trip around the island if you are planning to make a quick day visit to Nusa. Avoid renting a bike if you're not too adventurous enough to ride through rocky roads.
