Back to 2013 .....
From Haridwar
I took a stop at dehradun for 2hrs just to see famous hostels and boarding school but not able to as it is not allowed.....
Moved towards Mussoorie....
The spectacular Gun Hill is among the most famous tourist attractions of Mussoorie. It is the second highest peak in the region after Lal Tibba. There is an interesting history that backs the popularity of the Gun Hill. It is said that from this hilltop, the British used to fire ...
Mussoorie is the small hill station for relaxation and for those who like hills and mountains...
To explore Mussoorie and its nearby surroundings at a relaxed pace, one would need 2 days minimum as there are plenty of places in and around Mussoorie. Few of the must visit places are Lal Tibba, Company Garden, Kempty Falls, Clouds End etc.
Mussoorie has Surkanda Devi (good for a day-trek) & Dhanaulti which offers fabulous views of the Himalayas.
Trecking experience here is although very good but unfortunately my travel buddy got sick and we have to return back to hotel ....
Just down the Mall road we got our Mosiac hotel Mussoorie .... Rooms here were around 700 inr for 2 person..... It features a terrace and the views of the mountains.....
Spending time at Mall road is the best option to enjoy hill station....
Many shops and cafes available nearby at Mall road made us enjoy our 2days stay here .... With some fabulous sight seeing....
