Vashi is a point in Navi Mumbai with high urban activity. Though Vashi is majorly congested and a business district, there are a few places here and there where you can catch your breath. Vashi is the perfect weekend getaway owing to its scenic location, waterfalls and short treks, especially during the monsoon. You can also visit the Belapur Fort, Bawkhaleshwar Temple and D Y Patil Stadium – all well known tourist attractions. For a view of the entire city, drive up to Parsik Hill. The sight will make you forget that you are in a packed city. For a peaceful evening stroll amidst nature, head to the Central Park, which is also known to be a couple's paradise. Later, take a dip in in the towering Pandavkada Falls to cool off. And don’t forget to feast on the lip-smacking street food at the much-famed Utsav Chowk.
