It was a stressful week, and we need to chill maybe in a spiritual way, so we decided to visit Dwaraka Tirumala which is 100km away from Vijayawada, and this is a short trip and let's go into the story.

Day 1

We started around 10 am from Vijayawada, and stopped at Bhimadole for a sip of Tea where we have to take a left turn from the national highway to visit Dwaraka Tirumala. We reached the temple premises around 1 pm. Fortunately, Temple was not closed yet, so we completed darshan in 30 minutes. Yes, there was a crowd in the temple premises, but fortunately, as it was closing time only a few people were there for darshan. We came out from the internal temple by 1:45 pm, and there was Nithya Annadana Prasadam (Everyday lunch for pilgrims) and had lunch by 2:45 pm. Yes, there was a queue and had to wait for around 30 minutes, and it's worth the wait. For another 40 minutes, we visited the parks in the temple premises, and there was a lot of greenery and animals (elephants, peacocks). We started home around 3:30 pm and reached home within 3 hours.

You might find some hotels or Sathrams for the night stay, but I highly recommend going for a day trip rather than a night stay. There was a lot of space for parking, and you have to pay Rs. 30 toll.

Transport: 3> car(recommended), 1-2 (Bike/Motorcycle), bus(available)

Budget: ₹2000
