Tripoto

Ayodhya, a city that echoes the whispers of ancient tales and resonates with the soul of India's cultural heritage, is renowned as the birthplace of Lord Rama, a revered figure in Hindu mythology. Pilgrims and tourists alike are drawn to the sacred Ram Janmabhoomi, a site that has shaped the city's destiny and is now adorned by the magnificent Ram Mandir. Ayodhya's historical significance, reflected in its ancient temples and ghats along the serene Saryu River, provides a captivating backdrop for cultural exploration.

Beyond its spiritual allure, Ayodhya hosts the grand Deepotsav, a festival of lights that bathes the city in a celestial glow. This year was the 7th edition of Deepotsav, where more than 22 lakh 'diyas' illuminated the banks of the Saryu River, setting a new Guinness world record for lighting a large number of lamps simultaneously in one place. The 22,23 lakh 'diyas' (earthen lanterns), 6.47 lakh more than last year, were lit by 25,000 volunteers at the 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi along the river.
