Here are details about the Vande Bharat Express train between Lucknow and Gorakhpur:

●This is the first mini Vane Bharat Express with eight coaches instead of 16, including seven air-conditioned chair cars and one coach of executive chair cars accommodating 556 passengers.

●The train connects two prominent temples in Uttar Pradesh - Ram Janmabhoomi and Gorakhnath making it a pilgrimage route.

●The launch comes ahead of the anticipated Ram Mandir inauguration in 2024 and before the completion of the airport in Ayodhya.

●The train helps in connecting Ayodhya and Gorakhpur from other destinations as both these cities did not have semi-high-speed trains like Shatabdi or Rajdhani, making it easier for pilgrims. This train will reduce travel time and benefit the pilgrims visiting religious sites in the area.
