Silk route is one of the oldest business routes of the world through which silk was carried from China to Europe. The route passes through regions like East Asia, South East Asia, Persia and Europe. The Silk route in Sikkim was a part of this trade where trading was done through Tamluk port of West Bengal. This route covers Chumbi Valley and Nathula Pass at India China Border. This route was not open to tourist few years ago due to some security reason. But now this route is open for tourism and tourists can travel along this route starting from New Jalpaiguri or Bagdogra, West Bengal, India and passing through-

Day 2

Lingtam -> Zuluk-> Nathang Valley -> Thambi view point-> Lungthung view point->Old Baba Mandir-> Kupup lake ->New Baba Mandir-> Nathula Pass -> Changu lake (Tsomgo lake) and ending at Gangtok, capital of Sikkim, India.
