Working day in and day out, whether it's a job or household responsibilities, it can get exhausting both physically and mentally. As for me, I am not allowed to take leave upto the end of April due to some constraints in my company. Hence, I gotta manage to make time for relaxation in the middle of all this.
Mahashivratri was celebrated this year on the 11th of March and our company declared it a holiday for all. My colleagues and I thought what a great opportunity it was for us to get our much needed relaxation time.
So thus we headed, in search of quiet, calm and secluded beaches in our tiny state of Goa. We headed down south to the Canacona taluka. Upon some talks with locals we were told about a beach *which I would not like to name* - due to reasons to keep it clean and green.

To get to the beach, you need to hike down from the main road for about 20 - 25 mins. And voila! We reached our destination. I have never been to a beach where there were no other people except for a small local hotel serving meals and snacks.

Indeed it was a day that really did help my team relax and get the much needed time off to get back on track. Of course, the track uphill was exhausting as hell but the memories we are taking back cannot be mentioned in words.
So, it is true. Goa does have its gems just like all other places. I am lucky to be born in the tiny and beautiful state of GOA.
P.S. Please be responsible travellers/citizens and keep the places you visit clean and green for our future generations. Always carry your trash back with you and dump it in the right place.
