It is no secret that many things in tourism have changed for better or worse and this as a consequence of the contingency caused by the coronavirus COVID-19

Such is the case that in my recent short vacation in Cancun I saw positive things, negative things, things that remain the same and things that no longer exist (maybe for now)

The first point I noticed, which is a good thing at least for me, is that the tours are now mostly private.

This means that you will no longer be joined by another group of people going to the same place, but rather it will be a tour just for you, your partner and your family.

A negative point is the disappearance of the clubs. We know that Cancun has stood out for having a very active nightlife that is reflected in its antros.

But in this case, this life has been interrupted, because as a safety and health measure it is necessary to avoid public spaces where there are many people.

Which brings us to the third point. To be able to move freely in the city it will no longer be possible to use public transport, since it is now limited to a maximum number of people.

Which on the one hand is good, because it allows you to travel comfortably, but bad because if you have already exceeded that capacity and depending on the kilometer in which your hotel is located can take a long time to take the transport.

This gives free access to the private cancun shuttle, because they make it more feasible to move around the city.

Our next point is the beaches, from a visitor's perceptive for now they are only open to tourists, which leaves one beach totally alone for you.

Of course the disadvantage is that if you live in the city or are thinking of living there, you won't be able to access the beaches unless you book a day pass at one of the hotels.

Let's go to our next point where we find the places. Cancun has been characterized by being a city with many squares that attract attention and which were part of its attractions.

And yes, I say they were because they are now a little restricted, so we return to the same thing: You should avoid places with many people.

As we can see, many things are changing in this city and I'll keep on informing you, so in a few days I'll come back and update the post.

What would you like to know that I investigated?
