Hi Mohamed, If you are willing to go to that part of the country then I would suggest you to go in after February. Best season is the best to visit Sikkim that is from March to May. But you are planning to go recently then I think October-November is good because right now there must be all cloudy and you will hardly see the beautiful mountains. One more advice, try to visit north and East Sikkim too that includes Nathula Pass, Lachung, Lachen, Yumthang Valley and Gurudongmar Lake since those are the most beautiful places in Sikkim.

Hi October is a good season .

You should be at least 10 years.

10 years is the minimum age requirement

No because of altitute sickness

Hi, I think it would be best to consult your doctor. Kids are usually susceptible to altitude sickness and it can be very unpleasant for them. If you're going by a flight, make sure to acclimatize and keep everyone hydrated. Please consult your doctor who would also give you an appropriate medicine.

I will personally suggest don't waste your time staying in Shimla only. 1 day and 1 night are more than enough to explore Shimla all together. Additionally you can go to kufri as well. But it will be much better if you take a cab from Shimla to a place called Narkanda. it's around 60km from there. There you will experience the peaceful and calm mountains. There are quite a lot of adventure activities there as well one for example is Trek to Hatu Peak. It is an easy trek and you can even stay in camps close to Hatu Peak. you will defenately love it.

Barog, Chamba, Mashobra, Palampur are some of the less crowded hill stations there

Manikaran is one of the less crowded place near Bhuntar in himachal pradesh. If you like tk live in mountains far away from city I would recommend Gargi village which is 4 to 5km trek from manikaran. If accommodation is also available on prior booking.

Yes it will get affected Raghav g, as one would need to pitch tents on plain meadows in lower waterfall, upper waterfall and also in RontiGad on last 3 days of the trek. Its always best to have a pre-check with your trek operator/guide and then go ahead .....

I had recently been to Leh and stayed in Zaltak cottage near Leh market. That's one of the best places to stay in Leh.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi. Your rate for this trip depends on the various factors like mode of traveling and the duration of your stay and the places you want to cover.

Hi Santosh, Manali to Leh road trip on bike, solo is very much possible. However, acclimatization is very important which a lot of travellers ignore. The day you arrive Leh, don't step out. Even for local sightseeing. Just get enough rest and keep yourself hydrated. Many people take diamox, a preventive medicine for acute mountain sickness prior to travelling. Consult your doctor before starting a course of diamox. Lastly, it's going to be a beautiful ride and you'll make memories that you'll cherish forever. Happy travelling :)

Going solo is good, if you enjoy riding solo. If not go with couple of friends. Know well about your bike (shipping your own bike is better than renting), reads lot of blogs to understand routes and challenges, do not rush (acclimatize well), start riding early in the day and wind up soon... If you need more help If you want detailed itinerary connect with me on Instagram @lifeoutsidecubicle or in facebook @ourlifeoutsidecubicle , will help as best as I can. Happy riding

Hi Hinal, I doubt if the cops would allow you to. Besides, it could be unsafe when the tides get high. I found this camp to stay at though: https://www.booking.com/hotel/in/getsetcamp-revdanda-beach-camping.en-gb.html?aid=817014

Hi, Cambodia and Vietnam are probably the cheapest countries for travelers in Southeast Asia. For three weeks, 1000$ should be more than enough to cover your costs.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
800-1000 USD should be sufficient
