Hi Rupam, Dehradun and Rishikesh are disabled friendly cities near Haridwar. Avoid hill stations like Mussoorie as you can't take a car on the major streets and there are stairs on every nook and corner. Hope you have a great trip! :)

Hi Arti, Sikkim is undoubtedly one of the best places to set off solo in the country. Just the vast number of experiences it offers coupled with the fact that it is extremely safe to venture out alone, makes Sikkim an absolute must visit for every solo traveller. Hi jothi jayakumari, To be honest, the entire North-Eastern region is too vast to be covered in five days. It is best advisable to pick one state and travel through the same across the duration of your trip. Sikkim and Meghalaya make for the top picks for someone visiting this part of the country. Here are a couple of trips that might help you out in planning a five day trip to these states: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/things-to-do-in-sikkim-tourism-itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/trip/a-5-day-guide-to-witnessing-the-best-of-meghalaya-s-beauty-59e3b2ff3aeab Hope you have a great trip! :)

I would suggest Sikkim. It is cool at this time of the year, and also a very safe state to visit, compared with some of the other states. It has splendid sites & a paradise for a nature lover. You could plan your itinerary around Gangtok. That's the best you can do in 5 days!

Except D-2, it looks fine. Try and curtail activity on D2. Include Tegalallang Rice fields & Tegenungan Water falls. You may skip Goa Gajah & Monkey Forest in my view. For detailed planning and places you may watch this- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd0DREjXWaLZYVu-A27wShBEpRuVg2Srp

Hi Bhavik, Since hiring private cabs in the remote Spiti Valley can get quite expensive, opting for public transport is indeed the way to go! No its not at all worth buying. You can easily get better properties online while booking. Also the maintainance fees for steering is also too high.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Avoid it..specially when you have so many options available to choose like Hotels,Resorts,Camps,Airbnbs and hostels...

Kochi, Munnar and Alappuza are three best places to visit in Kerala. In Kochi you can visit - Fort Kochi: It is a water bound region. - Mattacherry Palace: It is a beautiful palace built by Portuguese - Cherai Beach: Do some swimming, spot dolphins and collect some beautifull shells - St Francis Church: It was the first church built by Europeans in India. Munnar is known for its sincerity. https://www.funstay.in/homestay-in-munnar-kerala-india You can stay in beautiful homestay in admits greenery. Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Anamudi and the blossom international park are few popular tourist spots in Munnar. Enjoy in the house boat at Alappuzha.

Hi ! You might already be aware that Lepchajagat is a dense forested area and offers great views of the snow peaks. If you don't have any intention to visit much places yet, then you can consider some of the nearby places such as - Hawa Ghar - From here all five peaks of Kanchenjunga massif can be seen. Ghoom Rock - Offering view of the Balsan Valley Jorpokhri and Ghum Monastery also offers good scene. Mirik and Sandakphu trek are also popular among visitors. One of the budget accommodation is Lodge by WBFDC (West Bengal Forest Development Corporation). Lepcha Jagat and Kanchan Kanya Homestays also provides good mid-range accommodation.

Hi Nishant ! Shared Taxis you might not find, rather you have to hire one. Otherwise you can opt for the Government and private buses which run frequently from Dehradun to Auli. The route is scenic and you can get tickets directly from Dehradun for buses A/C Sleeper, Non A/C Sleeper and Volvo A/C etc.
