Hi Abhinav Bali packages can cost anywhere between ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per person for 5 days tour. However, the cost is subject to increase with the inclusion of airfare and taxes. I think it is unrealistic and frankly impossible to completely stop tourists from visiting Mcleod Ganj. But there is need of some sort of regulation to control the influx of tourists and spread awareness about the situation so that people can take measures on a personal level as well.
I agree with Adete here. There are a lot of businesses as well as small scale stakeholders in McLeod that depend directly on tourism. Boycotting the place isn't a viable solution. The only thing that one can do is to be more responsible about their own footprint. Don't leave anything behind.
Hey anand ,
There is option of bachelor's in tourism ie( BBA ) from Indian institute of travel and tourism management (iittm) and also diploma course are available in Travel and tourism sector
Hi shruti There are two approaches ... you want to be in a crowded place or you guys are looking for ME time. If you want to be surrounded with people then mussoorie is good option for you and followed by Dhanuati. If you want a me time ... which i think is more likely.. you should divert you destination from mussoorie to kanatal. its above dhanaulti. It's a beautiful small town with a perfect blend of good hotel options and late back culture. You can go for small treks , village tours and also combine chamba and dhanaulti. You can also explore botanical garden in dhanaulti. Your can make this trip budget or luxury as per your desire. It fits into all pocket size trips.
Hotel option in kanatal - Go for hermitage ( my favorite ), mahindra club and can check in airbnb as well.
If you are a chinese food lover ,please halt at dehradun for one meal at orchid( both food and ambience is mind blowing)
You can visit Corbett National Park which is India's first largest Tiger reserve project. You can check my travel itinerary and travelogue on my profile :)

Hi
you can start with a day's travel in Chandigarh and after that you have two options for a 10 days long travel 1.
you can take a bus from sector 43 or 46 (confused) from Chandigarh to Manali
step down in a small village called Mandi on your way..
Mandi is far away from the hustle of the mainstream cities.. if you are travelling solo then it might be the perfect spot for you..it is really beautiful
after staying for a day or two in mandi you can hop on a bus to kasol. there is no direct bus for kasol from there... there is a stop before manali from where you can get a direct bus to kasol.. i need not explain the beauty of kasol .. it is already known.. Again it is away from the mainstream town but in the last two years kasol has become a favourite spot among travellers..
you can trek on the banks of Parvati river to reach another beautiful spot named chalal... there are so many cafes in chalal for your stay.. i would recommend to stay in Fusion cafe.. the food there is cheap and tasty..
from kasol you can spend the rest of the days of your journey in kullu and manali 2 or you can take a bus to the dharamshala
you can cover dharamshala, Mcleodganj and dharamkot from there as they are in a very close proximity.. enjoy the Tibetan culture there
also travel to a village nearby named Naddi to enjoy a beautiful sunset and sunrise view
try staying with the locals in dharamkot... they offer a room and food at a cheap rate
after exploring this much take a bus to Dalhousie, the Mini Switzerland of India.. if you have some more days to spare you can also cover spiti Valley from there

To travel from Ahmedabad to Bikaner with the least time, the fastest way is usually by air. However, if you prefer to travel by road, the most efficient route is via NH62. Here's the recommended route: Ahmedabad to Palanpur: Start on NH27 from Ahmedabad and head north towards Palanpur. The distance is approximately 145 km, and it usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach Palanpur depending on traffic conditions. Palanpur to Sirohi: From Palanpur, continue on NH27 towards Sirohi. You'll be crossing the Gujarat-Rajasthan border during this leg of the journey. The distance is around 90 km, and it typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Sirohi to Pali: Next, you'll continue on NH62 from Sirohi towards Pali. This stretch is approximately 160 km and takes around 3 hours. Pali to Bikaner: Finally, from Pali, continue on NH62 towards Bikaner. The distance is about 220 km, and it usually takes around 4 to 4.5 hours to reach Bikaner, depending on traffic and road conditions. Please note that travel times can vary based on factors such as road conditions, traffic, and weather conditions. It's always a good idea to check for any road closures or diversions before you embark on your journey. Additionally, consider the time of day you're traveling, as traffic congestion can be more significant during peak hours.
I don't think there are specific package, and doing a road trip on that route won't be fruitful. I Don't recommend any packages as they are deceving and strict on the time you spend in each charted places. Manali is best experienced when it is explored. The community there is friendly to tourists. You won't have much hassel there. I suggest you to take a govt. Volvo (hrtchp.com) from Delhi (17hrs travel) or from Chandigarh (10 hrs travel) and it will cost about 1600 and 999 respectively. If you're a group of 10+ member then hire a tempo Traveller (ex Chandigarh), which will be tolerant for your plans. In Manali you could hire a taxi from the taxi union for reasonable rate or rent bikes. if you need any help in planning the trip please don't hesitate to ping me.
Yes it is the best time to visit Ladakh. In the month of June and July the climate will be moderate. The temperature may vary between 23-27. The maximum temperature recorded there is 30C
Hi, in June first week, Manali-Leh highway opens up. However, the first week is not suitable since the area experiences snow slides and recurring blockages. From second week of June to the end of July you shouldn't face any issues. This is actually a pleasant time to visit Ladakh.
There were several packages from different dealers. The best way to travel is by air. The cost per person may vary according to the dealers. But my opinion it may take 20K per person
Hi, the best time to travel to Maldives is from December to April. Maldives could cost anywhere from Rs. 3,500 (budget traveling) to Rs.5,000+ (luxury traveling) per day for two people. Maldives issues a 30-day stamp on arrival to Indian citizens. I recommend you check the political situation there before visiting. As of now, it's a bit iffy. For complete information on Maldives please check out the following article - https://www.tripoto.com/trip/things-to-do-in-maldives-tourism-itinerary
Hi, you are looking at about Rs. 500 transportation, Rs. 500 accommodation and Rs. 300 food cost per day. So, approximately Rs. 1,500 per day. So, that comes out to be Rs. 10,500 for seven days. If you don't travel to a new place every day then that will bring down your transportation expense.
The right choice would be a manali trekking and camping. Group of 25 is a large number and you all have fun and trek. The snowfall may be the most enjoyable that time. Try Manali
Hi, it is a bit cold and tough to trek in the mountains in January therefore I recommend you check out Rajasthan, White Desert of Kutch, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. If you seek an offbeat experience then head to Araku Valley, Chhattisgarh or Odisha.
